Tabling with the Resilient Landscape Coalition (RLC)

Fire Safe Sonoma joined the Resilient Landscape Coalition (RLC) at the Climate Ready Cotati Fair 2025 on Saturday, March 29th, to connect with the community and promote sustainable, fire-resilient landscapes. The event couldn’t have had better weather, bringing together county-wide sustainability initiatives for a fantastic day filled with food, bike repairs, clothing swaps, and more.

At our table, we highlighted the wildfire risks associated with different lawn pathway materials, such as gorilla hair mulch, arbor mulch, and gravel, providing key insights into safer alternatives. We also showcased graphics of resilient landscapes, distributed brochures packed with valuable information, and shared QR codes for further resources. The engagement we received made it clear—grassroots fire resilience is growing stronger in Sonoma County!

A huge thank you to our Fire Safe Sonoma and RLC teams for bringing their passion, expertise, and enthusiasm to the event.
